My name is Debra Grant and I found yoga in my late forties! I had always been athletic and active, however; my body was in a downward spiral. I was waking up to numb hands and feet. My sciatica flared up while I was putting on a pair of yoga pants, couldn’t move for two hours! It was time to find something to heal my body. I also realized how important strength, balance and flexibility were imperative to the aging body! After 3-4 months of yoga, most symptoms were gone. I had also realized how much the practice goes beyond the body. The breath and mental stillness was healing as well. Yoga has given me more awareness and gratitude. I love sharing and teaching others, but also realize that we all have our own journey!
